Aster filters are made of polyester fibre impregnated with activated carbon and acrylic resins. Parts containing carbon are delegated to gas retention and other pollutants suspended in the air; parts containing the resin filter, dust and pollen. The high level of air pollution reduction in the passenger compartment has been reported by the scientific institutes that tested the Aster filters. Included in the list of these substances are cadmium, vanadium and lead which are harmful to our circulatory and respiratory systems.
